RESOLUTION NO. 1£37 US
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRINGlAPPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, West Hawaii Veterans' Cemetery Development & Expansion Association
(WHVCDEA, Inc.), anon-profit organization is a group of veterans that came together to form the
WHVCDEA, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, WHVCDEA, Inc. has launched a 5-year project to reforest 40-acres of the
62-acre West Hawaii Veterans' Cemetery with native dryland trees and shrubs; and
WHEREAS, a $57,408.00 appropriation will be used to purchase fence for the access
road leading up to the West Hawaii Veterans' Cemetery; and
WHEREAS, a $1,500.00 appropriation will be used to buy larger trees to accompany the
many seedlings WHVCDEA, inc. will plant on their next "I-Ielp Restore Kona" work day at the
Cemetery.
NOW THEREFOKE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred and appropriated as set forth
below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Finance and that the Director of finance is hereby authorized to
make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
