We make this request as we anticipate discussion on questions and issues pertaining to the Hawaii County Council's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities. The discussion will also cover the County's involvement in pending or upcoming litigation regarding this issue. My attorney work product will be produced in advance of the meeting under confidential cover, and will be discussed at this executive meeting. We ask the following descriptive verbiage be included in the Council's agenda under the topic heading: The purpose of the executive meeting is to discuss the Corporation Counsel's interpretation, work product, and recommendations concerning the State of Hawaii Office of Information Practices prohibition against "serial communication" of board members, and to discuss the Council's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities thereto. The discussion will also cover the possibility of litigation involving the County of Hawaii, pertaining to an interpretation of the OIP's opinion. This meeting , t Comm.
