SUBJECT: Actions from Environmental Management Cormittee Agenda 10/17/2005
At the October 17, 2005 meeting of your Environmental Management Committee, the following
actions were approved:
1. The committee accepted recommendations in Comm. 475, from the Waste Reduction Facility
Request for Proposal (REP) consultants. These recommendations were in regard to Statement
of Project Purpose and Need, Procurement Framework Summary, Ownership and Financing
Consideration in Solid Waste Reduction Facilities Implementation, RFP Timeline, and an
Environmental Impact Statement Preparation Notice.
2. A status report from the RFP consultants and from the I)e~partment of Environmental
Management shall be provided every 30 days.
