SUBJECT: Presentation by Dr. Ross Klein, regarding cruise ship impacts
Dr. Ross Klein, Professor, School of Social Work, Memorial University of Newfoundland, will
be making a presentation at your Environmental Management Committee meeting on November
8, 2005.
Dr. Klein has conducted research on the cruise ship industry worldwide and will be sharing his
insights. The presentation will be about fifteen minutes, and Dr. Klein is very interested in
addressing specific questions and concerns of individual Council Members following his
presentation. The entire time for presentation, questions, and discussion will be approximately
thirty minutes.
