Re: Operating Budget

Recently, the County Council adopted Resolution No. 175-05 which transferred $12,000
from the Clerk-Council Services Contingency Relief account to the Highway Fund for the
installation of streetlights in the Kea'au Agricultural Lots Subdivision to improve community
safety.
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the
$12,000 to the Streetlights OCE account within the Highway Fund.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of Public Works.

B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Resolution 175-05 authorized funds from Clerk Council SVC-Contingency Relief to the Transfer to
Highway funds, $12,000.00 for the installation of streetlights in the Kea'au Agriculture Lots Subdivision.
We are requesting these funds be appropriated in the Highway Fund.
