Dear Chairman ~liga and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to inform you that I have appointed Mr. Gary Yoshiyama of
Council district 2 to th<~ I~Olawai'i County liquor Ad~~~dication Soard.
Mr. Yoshiyama is a lif~iong resident of I~I',awai`i. is retired from the l-iawai`i
Government ~mploye:~s Association (HEA), wre;e he worked as a Union
Representative and then as the ~-l~~va's`i ibivision Chief. He was employed by
HG~A from 1975 to 200.
Mr. Yoshiyama formerly served on the hllawai`i County Liquor and Charter
Commissions, and the Work force ®ev~lopment hoard. lie is currently involved
with the American Cancer Society's Rely for Life. Mr. Yoshiyama states that he
is a Cemocrat. ~-ie wil' serve a teem to eicpire on Cecember 31, 2009.
