Dear Mayor Kim:
Thank you for your letter of October 14, 2005, announcing my appointment to a two-year
term on the Kailua Village Design Commission. Given the important role that the KVDC
plays in maintaining the character of Kailua Village, I feel honored to have been
considered.
Unfortunately, I must humbly decline as my future plans have changed significantly since
I applied to serve on this commission.
