RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLLiTION DESIGNATING THE CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR OF CERTAIN
COUNCIL COMMITTEES
WHEREAS, the Rules of Procedure and Organization of the Council of the County of
Hawaii were adopted by Resolution No. 4-04 on December 6, 2004, and were further amended
by Resolution No. 99-OS on June 1, 2005 and Resolution 121-OS on July 7, 2005; and,
WHEREAS, Rule 27, §5(a)(1)(A) of the Rules of Procedure and Organization of the
Council of the County of Hawaii, allows for organization of Council by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWA[`I that, pursuant the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County of Hawaii,
the following members are hereby designated as Chair and Vice Chair of the stated committees:

Planning K. Angel Pilago Gary Safarik
Public Safety and Parks and
Recreation Bob Jacobson Fred C. Holschuh
Public Works and Intergovernmental

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, pursuant to Rule 6 of the Rules of Procedure and
Organization of the Council of the County of Hawaii, the Chair and all members of the Council
shall be members of each of the above Committees.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that Resolution Nos. 5-04, 6-04, 7-04, 9-04, ] 0-04, and
120-OS are hereby rescinded.
