SUBJECT: Proposed Bill No. 89. Drafr 3 -Waikoloa Ma a, LLC
Attached for your favorable consideration is proposed Bill No. 89, Draft 3, with the following
housekeeping amendment. This amendment aligns Condition C with the changes made at the
November 8, 2005 Planning Committee meeting to Condition H of Draft 2. Since the golf
course use will now require approval of Waikoloa Village Association and of the County
Council, Condition C has been changed to clarify that the improvements listed in that condition
will not be linked to the opening of the golf course, but rather linked to final subdivision
approval of the first increment Draft 3 includes the following proposed amendment to
Condition C of Bill No. 89:
"C. Access shall meet with the requirements of the Department of Public Works.
Direct access to Waikoloa Road shall be limited to one roadway from the project
site. Waikoloa Road-Pua Melia Street-Paniolo Avenue intersection shall be
channelized and signalized meeting with the requirements of the Department of
Public Works. These improvements together with other improvements required
by the Department of Public Works based upon a current Traffic Impact Analysis
Report shall he provided ~ ^r'~^° in
conjunction with final subdivision approval of the first increment, [-ter
~ ur as otherwise provided by Chapter 23 (Subdivision Control);"
