Coordinator Grant to the I lawai'i County Police Department, which will be used to
reduce the number of alcohol, speed and seatbelt non-use related traffic fatalities
and injuries by providing a community based coordinator to plan and coordinate
activities and to he a liaison between State. County and community agencies and
organizations. In anticipation ofrcceiving this grant $52.000 has already been
appropriated within the I'Y2005-2006 Operating Budget.
