A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT ANU
FROM THE DESIGNATEll FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUNll ACCOUNT(S)
W HEREAS, a $4,000.00 appropriation for a supplementary grant to the Big Island
Filipino Community Council for the North Kohala Filipino Centennial Celebration nn
December 10, 2005, to be administered by the Department of Research & Deve]opment; and
WHEREAS, the public purpose is to celebrate the achievements of the i~ilipino
immigrants and have the community participate in the scheduled activities, which include a
parade, exhibits and displays, demonstration, and entertainment; and
WHEREAS, the North Kohala event is pari of a statewide celebration of the centennial
anniversary (1906 - 2006) of Filipinos in Hawaii, to he held in December 2005.
NOW, THEREFORE., BF, IT RESOLVED BY TFFE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAI`F that the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:
