Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 164, reports as follows:
Bill No. 164, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 502,
dated October 24, 2005, amends Ordinance No. 05-86, as amended, the Operating Budget,
ending June 30, 2006. The amendment is as follows:

3609.11 Transfer from General Fund Highway $12,000
To:
020-281-5281.32 Streetlights OCE Highway $12,000
(Kea`au Agricultural Lots Subdivision)
The County Council adopted Resolution No. 175-05, which transferred $12,000 from the
Clerk-Council Services Contingency Relief account from District 3 to the Highway Fund for the
installation of streetlights in the Kea'au Agricultural Lots Subdivision to improve community
safety.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 164 and
recommends it pass first reading.
