Subject: Uphold current committee chairs
Dear Mr. Higa,
I insist that you uphold the current committee chair assignments and to not allow Pete Hoffman or Bob Jacobson
to be removed from their current positions.
The original negotiation process leading up to the assigning of committee chairs should not be ignored.
It is your job as council leader to uphold the original agreements. They are the most fair and balanced
determinations for the management of affairs. By changing the game now, you will be greatly jeopardizing your
community support.
We are growing tired of the disempowerment of our elected officials that are dedicated to the needs of the
community majority in order to fulfill personal political gains. Yes, the community does see through the veils of
illusion, recognize the breaking of the Sunshine Law and many other strategic plays to better position council
members and their political allies.
It is time to calm the political endeavors and get to the job at hand
