Higa, Chairperson and Members of the Hawaii County Council Hawaii County Council - 25 Aupuni Street Hilo, Hawaii 96720 Re: Operating Budget The State of Hawaii Department of the Attorney General has authorized a $34,500 Sexual Assault Multi-Discipline Training Grant to the Hawaii Office of the Prosecuting Attorney. These funds will be used to coordinate a statewide 3-day training program aimed at improving the delivery of sexual assault services within the criminal justice system. Enclosed is a resolution to authorize the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the State of Hawaii Department of the Attorney General. Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this $34,500 grant.
