Re: Operating Budget
The State of Hawaii Department of the Attorney General has authorized a $34,500
Sexual Assault Multi-Discipline Training Grant to the Hawaii Office of the Prosecuting Attorney.
These funds will be used to coordinate a statewide 3-day training program aimed at improving
the delivery of sexual assault services within the criminal justice system.
Enclosed is a resolution to authorize the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the State of
Hawaii Department of the Attorney General.
Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this
$34,500 grant.

INCREASE REVENUE IN THE AMOUNT OF $34,500 AND DISTRIBUTE TO DESIGNATED ACCOUNTS
FOR THE DISBURSEMENT OF STATEWIDE SEXUAL ASSAULT MULTI-DISCIPLINARY TRAINING.

We have received a federal grant award through the State Department of the Attorney General to coordinate
a statewide 3-day training aimed at improving the delivery of sexual assault services within the criminal
justice system.
We are requesting funds be distributed as follows:
