SubjccL Amending Ordinance No. OS-87 ($150,000.00 Kaumana Drive Sidewalks)
l;nclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Capital l3udget by appropriating $150,000.00 to
the Kaumana Drive Sidewalks project. 'hhe project includes the construction of sidewalks on
Kaumana Drive from Lele Street to Puuhina Street.
This project address the safety concerns of the residents and handicap residents (ADA) using the
road and along side the road to get to their destinations. It would add 700 feet of sidewalk to the
existing Waianuenue Avenue sidewalk corridor. Kaumana Drive and Waianuei~ue Avenue arc
heavily traveled roads especially during school hours.
