Dear Ms. Bergeijk:
This is the first quarterly report (July 1, 2005 to September 30, 2005), for the second year of
funding being provided by the Hawaii Island Meth Initiative Grant ID #20040700, to the Hawaii
Police Department for the purpose of addressing the crystal methamphetamine problem in the
County of Hawai' i.
The funds provided by the Hawaii Community Foundation during this period aze being utilized
for salaries and wages for additional personnel to supplement the two established "ICE Task
Force" Units, and personnel assigned to the "Airport Drug Interdiction Unit."
The following is the combined statistics of the ICE Task Force Units and the Airport Drug
Interdiction Unit:
