RE: Presentation by Pacific Waste, Inc.
Guy Kaniho, General Manger of Pacific Waste, Inc. has committed to provide a
presentation to the Environmental Management Committee at its next meeting scheduled for
January 19, 2005.
Pacific Waste, Inc. is forming a joint venture with FERCO Enterprises, Inc. and Allied
Energy Services, LLC for the purposes of creating a municipal solid waste reduction and
conversion to energy facility in Hilo. 1'he proposal entails a short term plan to extend the life of
the existing Hilo landfill pending the immediate construction of a modern municipal waste to
electrical energy facility at the present Hilo landfill site.
