Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 183, reports as follows:
Bill No. 183, transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 215-OS by Director of Finance
William '1'akaba, via Communication No. 562, dated November I5, 2005, amends Ordinance No.
OS-86, as amended, the Operating Budget, ending June 30, 2006. The amendment is as follows:

These funds, donated as part of Wal-Mart Kona's "Safe Neighborhood Grant" program, will be
used toward the purchase of educational materials to be distributed to the public in
commemoration of Tire Prevention Week and of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 183 and
recommends it pass first reading.
