RESOLUTION NO. 240 `~6
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S).
WHEREAS, West Hawaii Veterans' Cemetery Development & Expansion Association
(WHVCDEA, Inc.), is anon-profit organization composed of veterans and supporters, which purpuse~
is to improve the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery; and
WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii and WHVCDEA, Inc. will be in partnership to
purchase and construct three sheltered signs (`ohia-post) to enhance visitors' experience at the
Cemetery; and
WHEREAS, these signs will attractively present the names of the interred and their
location, the cultural, historical, and environmental aspects of the restoration project.
NOW THEREFORE,, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred and appropriated as set forth
below:

BE [T FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is hereby authorised to
make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
