RESOLUTION NO. 243 (.)~i
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S), FOR KAHUKU PARK IMPROVEMENTS THAT WILL
BE COMPLETED WITH THE HELP OF COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS.
WHEREAS, the Friends of Kahuku Park is a community organization involved in long term
planning for Kahuku Park; and
WHEREAS, the Friends of Kahuku Park are involved in long term planning for Kahuku Park as it
relates to all of Ocean View; and
WHEREAS, the needs identitied at Kahuku Park include improvements to help aid the safety and
welfare of the many people in Ocean View who use the Park; and
WHEREAS, individuals in the community of Ocean View, through the Friends of Kahuku Park,
contribute time and labor to making improvements at Kahuku Park; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks & Recreation will utilize these funds to pay for costs
associated with the improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that the following amount be and is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:

CREDITED TO:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and is hereby directed and instructed to
forward a copy of this resolution to the Director of Finance and that the Director of F finance be and is
hereby authorized to make the ~~ecessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
