RE: Resolution No. 244-Ob, Draft 2
For your consideration, I wish to make the following amendment to Resolution No. 244-06 as
follows:
1. 3"' Whereas clause: "...of family gods ~aumakua , a human hair wig

2. Be It Further Resolved clause: `'...the ~^la~^~ Hav:~iatre~~it}°-and] parties involved
to enter [t#~e~ a traditional Iawaiian ho'oponopono process
3. Add a Be It Further Resolved clause to read: "BE IT FUR'CHER RESOLVED that the
Council of the County of Hawaii calls for the ancestral remains, funerary objects, sacred
objects and cultural patrimony to remain in place until the ho`opnopono process is
determined to be complete; and"
4. Amend the BG I"f FINALLY RESOLVED to read as follows: "...the Honorable Linda
[.ingle, Governor, State of Hawaii, hand] the Honorable Harry Kim, Mayor, County of
Hawaii, the Honorable David A. Ezra, Chief Judge, United States District Court for the
District of Hawaii, the Honorable Kevin S.C. Chang, Magistrate Judge, United States
