This position is responsible for keeping the public informed about county government and community activities through the effective use of the public media and it now takes approximately 20 hours per week to perform all of its duties and responsibilities. Increasing the time element of this position from 2/5 time to half time will fairly compensate the incumbent for his work required and performed.
