Dear Councilman Yagong:
In reference to Communication #506, Hilo Intermediate School will undoubtedly
be impacted by the change in traffic flow during the morning hours during
school days. However, as a school official, I am I no position to support or
oppose the change as I believe the county traffic engineers have the
responsibility to respond to the safety concerns of the community and must
make appropriate adjustments and changes for the betterment of the larger
community. I am willing to support the decision made by the county for
everyone's well-being.
Thank you for your understanding.
Sincerely,
