A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the Pahoa High and Intermediate School Auto Mechanics Shop is in need of tools
and equipment to train students for entry level positions in the field of auto mechanics; and
WHEREAS. the County has secured commitments from Pahoa High and ]ntermediate School
for additional funding and from I,ex Brodie's'fire and Service Center for the donation of auto lift
equipment; and
WHEREAS, the $5,000.00 appropriation will be administered by the Office of the Prosecuting
Attorney, which will grant the funding to Malama O Puna, a Hawaii non-profit organization, for the
purchase of tools and equipment for the Pahoa High and Intermediate School.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RF.SOLVF,D BY THI; COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that the following amount be and is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY IaESOLVED that the County Clerk be and is hereby directed and instructed
to forward a copy of this resolution to the Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance be and
is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
