Your Committee on Finance. to which was referred Bill No. 207, reports as follows:
Bill No. 207, transmitted by Council Member Bob Jacobson, via Communication No. 638, dated
January 5, 2006, amends Ordinance No. OS-87, as amended, the Capital Budget, ending
,tune 30, 2006, by adding the lollowing project:
PAKKS & RECREATION:
Kahuku Park Improvements 110.599.5598.62 $40,000
Funds for these projects shall be provided from:
General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund- $40,000
Fund Balance and/or other Sources
Funds will be used to cover improvement and development of existing facilities at Kahuku Park,
specifically, a community walking path, three retaining rock walls (one each for the soccer field,
swing set, and pavilion), thrce metal supports near swing sets, dirt for the soccer field and
associated enhancements of Ikahuku Park.
Pursuant to Section 10-6(d), 1{awai'i County Charter, the Council may amend the Capital Budget
for that year with atwo-thirds vote.
Your Committee on Financc is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 207 and
recommends it pass first reading.
