SUBJECT: Request for Time in Committee Meetings Scheduled for February 28, 2006
Chair Higa,
I would like to respectfully request approximately one hour of time during the committee
meetings scheduled for February 28, 2006. This hour would include presentation time as well as
time for questions and answers.
This time would be used to present information on solid waste incineration systems that I
observed on a recent trip to Taiwan. I was so impressed with the technology utilized as well as
how this technology was optimized by the people I met.
Considering the solid waste crisis we find ourselves in, I believe this presentation is vital
in our efforts to seek out solutions and find answers. I hope to provide some fresh information
that will help in that regard.
