Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending Ordinance No. OS-87, as amended, the Public Improvements and Financing Budget, which appropriates. $1,050,000 for Hakalau Veterans' Park Improvements. Specific improvements to be funded by this bill include the following: 1. Procurement of required materials. Items requiring materials: restrooms (including provisions for septic capacities) and a pavilion ($400,000), bleachers ($30,000), roofing to cover said bleachers ($120;000) and make -all improvements ADA compliant ($500,000). 2. Design and installation of required materials. Design and installation costs included in estimate within item I . The requested funding will allow the Department of Parks and Recreation to purchase required materials and then install restrooms (including provisions for septic capacities) and a pavilion ($400,000), bleachers ($30,000), roofing to cover said bleachers ($120,000) and make all improvements ADA compliant ($500,000). Hakalau Veterans Field currently has no restroom facilities and is in dire need ofa pavallion and covered bleacher area for those that utilize this park for softball and baseball games as well as other activities enjoyed at this historic and highly revered park. Specific improvements to be funded by this bill include the following: 1. Procurement of required materials. Items requiring materials: restrooms (including provisions for septic capacities) and a pavilion ($400,000), bleachers ($30,000), roofing to cover said bleachers ($120,000) and make all improvements ADA compliant ($500,000). 2.
