Re: Operating Budget
Enclosed are two resolutions authorizing the Mayor to enter into
agreements to fund gang prevention grants for both East and West Hawaii.
The grant for East Hawaii is for $114,000 and for West Hawaii, $104,000.
These grants are being provided to the Hawaii County Police Department to
monitor gang activities and assist the State in the coordination of the
critical elements of the youth gang response system.
