RESOLUTION NO. 263 06
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO
A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the Taste of Puna is an annual cook-off competition and community
based event sponsored by Sure Save Super Market, Ltd.; and
WHEREAS, this event promotes and supports the economic development of Puna
products and services, as well as building community pride; and
WHEREAS, this event recognizes excellent recipes that contain products from Puna,
such as papayas, macadamia nuts, rambutan, ohelo berries, taro, orchids, anthuriums, and
local seafood; and
WHEREAS, a $2,000 appropriation to the Department of Research and Development
will be used as a grant to cosponsor this year's 10`h Annual Taste of Puna, which is scheduled
for Saturday, March 18, 2006.
NOW, THERF.FORF,, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set
forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $2,000
CREDITED TO:
010.161.5161.22 Department of Research and Development $2,000

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to
make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
