Dear Chairman Higa and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. Morris I. Kihara of Council District 2 to the
County of Hawaii Veterans Advisory Committee. Mr. Kihara is an 85-year
resident of Hawaii who is retired. He is a member of the 100t" Infantry Battalion
Veterans Hawaii Chapter, and for the past 30 years has served as Treasurer for
the Disabled American Veterans Organization.
Mr. Kihara states that he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, he
will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2010.
