From Ginger Towle - ,

Tank you for all th? work that has gone into these revlsion~s. only fi ie-tming to-Draft
i= needed. It's time to qet this passed so enforcement c+~n b~:;:gin.
Under Division 3 ~ Stray Dogs -
I feel that It should be written into the law that it is a rr andEr[ory requirement that fines
must be issued, for straying, for every dog that ends uFa at tare shelter as well as a
citation tar no license if that Is the case. However, I do eel an exemFtion for
impoundment etc. should be given to Advocats and authorizr~d colony cats that art>. ear
t~ppetl and neulerECJ. Ho'ding time for all other cats sh~:~uld Ire the sane as daps. Cato
with c~~ips should be held a minimum of 7 days tt~e same as dogs with ch ps, Those cats
without ID should ~e held a minimum oP4F hours, the same. as unshipped dogs. I do
feel the impound a~~d kennel fees are rather steep and could definitely result i:~ an!mals
not being redeemed I believe in enforcement, haweve~ , I a so want ~rnirr.als to ac home.

'1"fris is important in case some judge decides tnat mediatior: etc. is al that is necessary.
"cnything required should be in additon to, for a guilty c~erdica, not in dace of!
The best education toot for adults is a stiff fine!! The officer wouldn't ha~re issued the
:-nation if not warranted. We need to support our offc::rs and the law.
annlaud the licensing schedule, It is more than fair. T'1e h:.imane societ,~ needs ro be
able to identify our pets when they are lost. After all It is or r c;lroice as to hovv n,~~ny
;oqs we rnvn and that should be sn direct proportion as to vrhat we can afford. Everyone
working and our dogea are our house pets or used far sport, Y;untln j, doy s! o~ws etc.
Ne all make choices.
