Re: Operating Budget Amendment
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget. The
Planning Department, by Ordinance Nos. 95-62 and 95-74, and in
accordance with Rule 14 of the Planning Commission's Rules of Practice
and Procedure, requests to utilize funds from the Geothermal Asset Fund
(GAF) to 1) supplement the consultant services contract to assist the
Planning Commission in the review of claims and 2) for payment of claims
to people whom the Planning Commission finds have been adversely
impacted by activities authorized or unauthorized by GRP No. 2, and to
authorize payment for community approved geothermal impact mitigation
projects within the Puna District.
