RE: General Obligation Bonds
Water Commission Resolution No. 98-O1 requests the issuance and sale of $775,600 in general
obligation bonds by the County of Hawaii. Enclosed for your favorable action is an ordinance
bill authorizing the issuance of $775,600 in general obligation bonds on behalf of the Department
of Water Supply for sale to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Proceeds will
be used to finance a portion of the improvements to Ookala, Paauilo and Paauhau water
distribution systems.
This issue is a reimbursable general obligation bond with the Department of Water Supply
reimbursing the County for payments on this bond issue.
