RE: Resolution No. 267-06 (Draft 3) -RESOLUTION REGARDING THE SELECTION OF
A MEMBER OF THE HAWAII COUNTY COUNCIL TO SERVE AS A LIAISON TO
A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS EVALUATION COMMITTEE SELECTING
PRIVATE VENDORS PROPOSING SOLID WASTE SOLUTIONS FOR THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII
Enclosed is a proposed Resolution regarding the selection of a member of the Hawaii
County Council to serve as a liaison between the Council and the Administration for the purpose
of improving communication regarding the procurement process and timetable with regard to
any request for proposals evaluation committee selecting private vendors proposing solid waste
solutions for the County of Hawai` i.
At the Council meeting on March 1, 2006, a friendly amendment to Resolution No. 267
(Draft 2) was made to correct a typographical error in the title. The change between Draft 2 and
Draft 3 is detailed below. The change to the title is as follows:
RESOLUTION REGARDING THE SELECTION OF A MEMBER OF THE HAWAII
COUNTY COUNCIL TO SERVE AS A[hF] LIAISON TO A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
EVALUATION COMMITTEE SELECTING PRIVATE VENDORS PROPOSING SOLID
WASTE SOLUTIONS FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
