V96HEREAS, the Kona Coast Resort has donated $600 to the Hawaii County Police
Department's Special Response Team, in appreciation of their on-going support to the community;
and
l91PiF°BERE~6S, Article XI I I, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council,
on behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property; and
lnll-IER~~S, the Hawaii County Police Department recommends the acceptance of this
donation.
