Dear Chairman Higa and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Suzanne P. Mayhew of Council District 5 to the
County of Hawaii Environmental Management Commission. Ms. Mayhew is a
6-year resident of Hawaii who is the owner of Aikane Bicycle and Sport Shack, a
bicycle retail shop in Keaau. She is presently the Vice President of Family and
Community Education/Puna Wahine and a member of Hawaiian Paradise Park
Neighborhood Watch.
Ms. Mayhew states that she is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed,
she will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2010.
