Re: Resolution for multi-year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year for
the lease of one (1) truck tractor for the Department of Environmental Management Solid
Waste Division. The department needs to replace one of their truck tractor that was
involved in a highway accident and was deemed to be totaled by the appraiser.

A. REQUEST:
Resolution for the financing lease of one (1) Truck Tractor for a period of five years.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The Solid Waste Division needs replacement equipment for one (1) 2001 Truck Tractor which was involved
in a highway accident. The vehicle was deemed to be totalled by appraisers.
The Solid Waste Division requests the authority to enter into a lease program to finance the purchase over
five years. Funding for the lease is included in the proposed budget for FY 2006-2007.
