No. 661, dated January 20, 2006, transfers funds as follows:

Weed and Seed Coordinator
These discretionary funds from Council District 5 will be used will be used for the purchase of
tools and equipment to train students for entry level positions in the field of auto mechanics at
Pahoa High and Intermediate School. The grant will be administered by the Office of the
Prosecuting Attorney.
Your Committee heard testimony in favor to the measure from Mr. John Ritchie of Pahoa High
& Intermediate School, Ms. Rene Sirachusa of Pahoa Weed & Seed Stategy Committee, and Mr.
Lon Brown of Pahoa Weed & See Project.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 252-06
and recommends its adoption.
