Enclosed for your information is 1255-06 Draft 2, as approved in the Public Works Committee meeting held on February 28, 2006. -~i~.' 255-06 Draft 2 has been put into the approved format, there have been no other changes or alterations made to Draft 2. For your clarification, the amendments are as follows: In the Resolution title, RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE 1VIAYOI~ AND HIS AD1dIINISTI2ATION TO EXPEDITE TIIE PLANNING AND DESIGN OF TIIE LA`ALOA AVENUE EXTENSION [ , ' , LAI~O STREET EXTENSION AND ALI`I PARKWAY PROJECTS TO DEVELOP A COORDINATED SET OF ROADWAY :NETWOII~ IIVIPROV'EI~IENTS TIIAT INCLUDE NEEDED TIZAEFIC CALMING 1FEAT1EJItES WHILE WEIGIIING THE AIIILiTY TO INCREASE IVIODILITY WITIi ALTERNATIVE ROUTES. Further amendments are as follows: "WHEREAS, the developer was to have built a connector road to Kuakini but was informed by the county Public Works Department that the road would too steep and, in lieu of the developer providing the connector [ ivizsauce] the developer provided funds for a preliminary en ing eerin~ report, environmental assessment and additional archaeological survey work for an alternate connector that would be less steep and safer for traffic; and Coen PIS, ~ Rte.
