Dear Jane:
We are very pleased to inform you that the Hawaii Tourism Authority has approved an
award of $75,000 to the County of Hawaii to support tourism product development initiatives for
calendar year (CY) 2006 programs.
These funds are available to you to support those projects which help to improve your
tourism product offerings but which do not generally fit under the ongoing County Product
Enrichment Program. We will be drafting up a contract for your consideration that details the
program's objectives and criteria. All or portions of these funds may be sub-contracted to other
organizations as needed.
Thank you once again for your enthusiastic support and great efforts on behalf of
Hawaii's visitor industry. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to
contact either Muriel Anderson at 973-2269 or Robbie Kane at 973-2262.
Sincerely,
Rex D.Johnson
