Elimination of permanent electrical power and telephone service and use of temporary electrical power at the project site. 2. Lowering of the reload building tip floor elevation by 6 to 7 feet in order to minimize fill requirements. 3. Elimination of the Colnmercial Exit Scale. 4. Various other measure to reduce scope. Since that time, the department has reconsidered the decision to lower the Reload Facility tip floor elevation. After cazeful analysis, we concluded that maintaining the tip floor elevation at its original height was much more functional and provided flexibility for a future Waste Reduction Technology (WRT) operation. In addition, re-evaluation of the existing design of the reload building showed that it was possible to eliminate one of the load-out tunnels and still maintain adequate functionality of the facility. In doing so, this will result in a cost savings that will be applied towazds bringing back the original tip floor elevation, the electrical and telephone service, and the commercial exit scale. Justification and cost estimates for restoration of these items are as provided in the enclosed table.
