Amendment to Certain Sections of the Chapter 23 (Subdivision Code)
Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition)
The Planning Commission at its duly held public hearing on March 9, 2006, voted to
approve the proposed amendments to certain sections of Chapter 23 (Subdivision Code),
Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition) regarding the subdivision review and approval
process, including but not limited to information required for the submittal of an initial
subdivision application, revision of certain time requirements, grades and curves of
streets, and "housekeeping" changes to the languages within various sections of the code.
Enclosed is the draft bill for your favorable consideration. Should you have questions
