RESOLUTION NO. 289
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, a $10,000.00 appropriation will be used by the Department of Parks and
Recreation to replace the chain link fence at the Waimea Ball Park; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has solicited an acceptable bid from a
private contractor to remove the existing damaged fence and replace it with a new four-foot high
fence; and
WHEREAS, and the Department of Parks and Recreation is ready to proceed with this
project upon receipt of this appropriation; and
WHEREAS, the new fence will enhance the safety of the Waimea Ball Park, a facility which
is well used by residents of the surrounding community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that the following amount be and is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth
below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and is hereby directed and
instructed to forward a copy of this resolution to the Director of Finance and that the Director of
Finance be and is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms
of this resolution.
