Re: Capital Budget
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance to add the Hilo Road Improvements project
and the Kona Road Improvements project to the capital budget.
The Hilo Road Improvements project includes construction of concrete
retaining walls and installation of metal guardrails on the following South Hilo
Roads:
• Kinoole Street (Route 1930) -from Ohea Street to Kawili Street
• Haihai Street (Route 2740) -from Keone Street to Awela Street
• Komohana Street (Route 2740) -from Mauna Iho Place to U'ilani Street
and from Edena Street to West Puainako Street.
The Kona Road Improvements project includes widening and resurfacing of
portions of Mamalahoa Highway from Palani Road to Halekii Street.
