RESOLUTION NO. 3UO
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S), FOR KAHUKU PARK IMPROVEMENTS.
WHEREAS, the Friends of Kahuku Park is a community organization involved in long
term planning for Kahuku Park; and
WHEREAS, the needs identified at Kahuku Park include improvements to achieve an
environment at the park that helps assure an enjoyable and safe location fox young and old to use and
recreate; and
WHEREAS, individuals in the community of Ocean View, through the Friends of Kahuku
Park, contribute time and labor to making improvements at Kahuku Park; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks & Recreation will utilize these funds to pay for
costs of improvements at Kahuku Park, specifically sand for the outdoor volleyball court.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that the following amount be and is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth
below:

~E IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and is hereby directed and
instructed to forward a copy of this resolution to the Director of Finance and that the Director of
Finance be and is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms
of this resolution.
