A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S), FOR HO`OKENA BEACH PARK
IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, Kama`aina United to Protect the `Aina (KUPA) is a community
organization working in partnership with the Department of Parks & Recreation to help manage
Ho`okena Beach Park; and
WHEREAS, individuals in the community, through KUPA, contribute time and labor to
making improvements at Ho`okena Beach Park; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks & Recreation will utilize these funds to pay for
costs associated with the improvements to improve traffic safety at Ho`okena Beach Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that the following amount be and is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth
below:

APPROPRIATION: $10,000.00
OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $10,000.00
CREDITED TO:
010.500.5503.39 Department of Parks and Recreation $10,000.00

SE IT FINALLY IaESOLVED that the County Clerk be and is hereby directed and
instructed to forward a copy of this resolution to the Director of Finance and that the Director of
Finance be and is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms
of this resolution.
