Angel Pilago, Council Membet(~/~ /~2~ /lde~ • 1, RE: Resolution No. 260-06, Draft 2 (Kealakehe Proje rad) Transferring Funds -District 8 ($5,000.00) This is to transmit Resolution No. 260-06, Draft 2, which was the result of amendments made at the March 22, 2006, Council meeting. An amendment to Resolution No. 260 was necessary following notification by Corporation Counsel that the appropriate County agency with anon-grant program specifically designated to support activities such as that proposed by Resolution No. 260 is the Department of Liquor Control, and not the Department of Research and Development. We were informed that the Department of Liquor Control has historically supported these kinds of activities and is the appropriate County agency through which such appropriations and transfers occur. At the March 22, 2006 County Council meeting, Resolution No. 260 was adopted and Draft 2 was authorized to be prepared. Draft Z deletes reference to "Account Number 010.161.5162.98" and "Department of Research & Development, Hawaii Resource Center" and replaces it with "Account No. 010.25].5251.39" and "Department of Liquor Control, Public Programs". Resolution No. 260, Draft 2 authorizes the transfer of $5,000.00 from the Clerk-Council SVC- Contingency Relief account to the following account and project: Rsrd. Q40-Ofo~ YL+. l ~ Comm.
