RE: Comm. 675 and Bi11217 -Na`alehu Park Acquisition Project - $1,200,000
Comm. 758 and Resolution 290 - C. Brewer/Na`alehu and Pahala
Wastewater Sewer Systems Project
It is my understanding that Resolution 290, which authorizes the Mayor to enter into an
agreement with C. Brewer and Company, Limited, for the acceptance of cash proceeds and land
as final compensation to implement the Na`alehu and Pahala Wastewater Sewer Systems Project,
is pending referral to the Finance Committee at the request of Council Member Bob Jacobson.
The companion legislation for implementing Resolution 290 is Bill 217, which would
amend the current year CIP budget to add the Na`alehu Park purchase for $1,200,000, was
referred to the Environmental Management Committee on February 3, 2006.
Now that Resolution 290 has been completed, I request re-referral of Comm. 675 and Bill
217 to the Finance Committee so that this companion legislation can be considered by the
Finance Committee at the same time as Comm. 758 and Resolution 290.
