Dear Councilman Pilago:
I am writing on behalf of my wife, April Springer and myself.
My wife and I own Lot 3 of Makalei Estates as well as a home on Ali'i Drive.
We are very much opposed to the proposed Hiluhilu development on Queen Ka'ahumanu
Highway.
The traffic on the OK highway is already terribly overburdened, especially in the late
afternoon and early evening when people are returning from work in the north.
To add to that congestion with the addition of an 855 unit development without first
addressing the infrastructure problems is unconscionable.
We all want the island to be successful but there are very good reasons why so many of us
do not want Kona to become really West Los Angeles.
Please add the voices of my wife and me to those who oppose this project.
