SUBJECT : ORDINANCE BILL 262 -REVISIONS RELATING TO CHAPTER 22,
STREETS AND SIDEWALKS, HAWAH COUNTY CODE
Since our April 15, 1996 submittal of Bi11262, the Department has had an opportunity to consider both
philosophical, technical and organizational changes to the Bill 262. This has occurred as a result of
discussions with the Legislative Auditor's Office as well as considering recent issues such as sandwich
board advertising, cafe table service and street side peddling. Because these changes are substantial, in
the interest of clarity, we would like to request the withdrawal of Ordinance Bi11262. In its place we will
submit a new bill for your consideration.
